RR fire district issues to be discussed May 26

The Rio Rico Property Owners’ Association, dba, Residents of Rio Rico, will host a presentation by David Shambach, of DESA Architecture at its general meeting on Tuesday, May 26, at 6 p.m. at the Rio Rico Community Center, 391 Avenida Coatimund.

Designation

Shambach is designing the Rio Rico fire station for the corner of Pendleton Drive and Ruby Road and will provide information on that building.

A presentation by Blaine Moyer, chairman of the Rio Rico Fire District Committee to determine the need for a five-member board of directors, will also take place. He will explain the purpose and process undertaken by the committee and why the election will not be this year, although the board of directors’ concept was approved.
