Dr. Burt Stanga began offering pediatric services on May 28 at Mariposa’s Rio Rico office on Circulo Mercado Drive.

Dr. Stanga, who is board certified in pediatrics, attended medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine before completing his residency in pediatrics at the University of Arizona. Following his residency, he returned to Johns Hopkins to complete a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics.

For a number of years, Dr. Stanga had a private practice in Salt Lake City, Utah, specializing in general pediatrics and developmental disabilities. He was also a Clinical Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah. He later practiced in Iowa and Wyoming before joining Mariposa. For appointments, call (520) 375-5003.
