After watching President Obama talk about Health Care last night and observing that he said really nothing, I realized that there are 3 important issues that interwoven. These issues are at the heart of concerns for any Americans. Allow me to explain...

Earier this year, Obama stated that illegal immigration was an important issue that he would tackle this year. I now believe that was a pacifier type statement, only meant to appease the masses. Nothing has been done. I ask why nothing has been done, when our country is suffering severe jobs losses. With an estimated 10+ million illegal aliens in our country, if only 2 million are employed, how would those 2 million jobs affect the overall unemployment rate for legal Americans. Please do not get me wrong, I am all for immigration, but under a LEGAL status only.

Where does the healthcare come into that you ask? Congress has stated that aproximately 9.7 million illegal immigrants will be included in the Health Plan. This shows me that our Government has NO plans to tackle the illegal immigrant issue and legal Americans are going to suffer for it. As a Historian, I am ashamed that our Government has left us high and dry.I firmly believe that we need to vote out these people in 2010 and elect officials that listen and act on what there constituents want.

I for one dont want to pay for an illegal immigrants existence or health care.
