Lightning strike causes small fire

Lightning struck a residential well approximately six miles west of Sonoita at 121 Wood Canyon Road also an dignited a quarter-acre fire on the evening of July 19. 

Sonoita-Elgin Fire Department Chief Joseph DeWolf said no structures were threatened. The fire was easily contained.
