In response to your request for positive feedback on local businesses, (NI, Friday, Aug. 25, Editorial) I must tell you about the 1949 Nogales High School graduation reunion that we celebrated over the Labor Day Weekend at Oasis Cinema.

It is not my first experience there, since I have celebrated birthdays and other events with the most gracious and professional attention from General Manager Susan Clarke Morales and her staff.

The white cloth table settings at the cinema were perfect for the 49ers and the other four classes; 1947, 1948, 1950 and 1951 who joined us.

We enjoyed the pizza, chicken nuggets, wine and beer and regular popcorn, nachos, sodas, plus our favorite music from CDs. Don’t let me forget the coffee and donuts.

It was great fun with no work or pressure on any one person or committee. Susie was available for us for all our needs as we celebrated in grand style.
