Road work continues as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act along State Route 83, from its junction with SR 82 to about 10 miles north.

Crews will work on smoothing out bridge approaches throughout the project area this week, a spokeswoman said. Intermittent lane restrictions will occur at each bridge approach.

Minimal delays will occur, she said, adding that motorists should watch for flag persons, who will be on-site to help direct traffic.

“ADOT advises drivers to proceed with caution, obey all posted speed limit signs and be alert for construction equipment and personnel,” the spokeswoman said.
