Nogales Community Development (NCD) would like to thank UniSource for its contribution to the Frontera Nogales VITA program. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is an Internal Revenue Service initiative designed to promote and support free tax preparation service for the underserved low-income populations. These populations include the elderly, disabled, limited English proficient and non-urban taxpayers.

The Frontera Nogales VITA Coalition is a partnership between local, regional and statewide organizations providing free tax preparation and asset development services. The coalition will be providing free services to families in Nogales and Santa Cruz County beginning January 2010 through April 15, 2010.

With sponsorship from UniSource, we will be able to leverage our limited resources to continue providing free tax preparation in our community during the next tax season.
