Two shows will open Sunday, Feb. 7, at the Hilltop Gallery. Artists Arturo Garino and Ana Christina Villaseor each will have an exhibit. A free reception to meet the artists will be Sunday afternoon from 1-4 p.m.

In the Main Gallery, Arturo Garino will exhibit his art called "Pieces of Life." Garino, a well-known Nogalian, works in tile and glass mosaics, as well as painting and drawing. Many of Garino’s mosaic pieces are around Nogales and in City Hall. He has worked with youth using mosaic tile to make benches and plaques.

In the Studio Gallery, Ana Christina Villaseor will exhibit drawings done with colored pencil and charcoal. She lives in Nogales, Ariz., and was educated in Nogales, Sonora. She attended Pima Community College and has continued her art studies.

The gallery is at the corner of Marina and Sage streets on Hilltop Drive and is open daily from 12:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. On Saturday, the gallery is open at 10:30 a.m. for “Saturday at the Gallery.”
