Vida Anne Gudenkauf

Vida Anne Gudenkauf of Nogales, Ariz., died Jan. 14, 2010, in Tucson. She was born Dec. 16, 1943, in Monticello, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Galen, of Green Valley; daughter, Jill (Tim) Sweet of Tucson; three sons, Tim (Amy) Gudenkauf of Rio Rico, Jeff (Barb) Gudenkauf of Nogales, John (Yani) Gudenkauf of Tucson; eight grandsons, Ryan Sweet, Aaron, Galen, Kevin, Joshua, Axel, Gabriel, Hunter Gudenkauf; four sisters, Lois (Jack) Livingston and Glady McMellor of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Edna (Roy) Kintz of Robins, Iowa; Dolores McAteer of Marion, Iowa; a brother, Frank (Linda) Fitzsimmons of Monticello, Iowa.

A service celebrating her life was held Jan. 10 at Martinez Funeral Chapels.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, in Green Valley in Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church at 505 N. La Cañada Drive.
