The Nogales Photo Group is poised to reactivate, offering a creative community environment for locals to share their photography interests.
Established in 2010, the Nogales Photo Group was formed by local photographers hoping to encourage and realize the potential of their shared passion for photography. After a hiatus, the group plans to return with an approximately two-hour meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11 at the Hilltop Gallery, 730 North Hill Top Drive in Nogales.
Subsequent meetings will be held the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
The informal group has no officers, no dues and one rule: members must bring recent work to the meetings to share with others.
“The group will learn from each other what works in photographic images and hopes to provide a venue and insight through critique, lessons and overall appreciation of the art and documentary form, all while enjoying the association with other photographers and the opportunity to showcase their work,” organizers said in an announcement.
