Now that the CDC has approved a Pfizer-made COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11, kids in that age group will have several exclusive opportunities to be inoculated at the City of Nogales Recreation Center on Hohokam Drive.
The Mariposa Community Health Center, which staffs the Rec Center clinics, said it will hold vaccination clinics only for children ages 5 to 11 from noon to 6 p.m. on the following dates:
- Nov. 10, 17, 18 and 29.
- Dec. 1, 8 and 9.
Walk-ins are welcome, or parents can call (520) 223-4337 to schedule an appointment.
People 12 and older will be able to get vaccinated at the Rec Center on these dates:
- Nov. 9, 16, 19 and 30.
- Dec. 2 and 7.
